ROCK CHORUS - community choir with a difference! The repertoire is classic and contemporary rock, pop, soul and gospel. There are of course, plenty of choirs around, but many of them concentrate on classical or purely religious music and “Rock Chorus Dunstable” choir leader Lauren Field wanted to arrange great pop and rock songs for her choirs. “We don’t hold auditions – there is no need for previous experience. We want people to come because they love singing and want to make new friends, pure and simple” says Lauren. Rock Chorus Dunstable does not have an age restriction – the age range at the moment is 13 to 84! There are strong singers and less confident singers but they all support each other and together they make a great noise. Rock Chorus Dunstable presently runs weekly choir rehearsals in Dunstable, Milton Keynes, Bushey, Berkhamsted and Pinner, Middlesex. The terms run for ten weeks and membership is open to every one of all ages and all abilities. Any rehearsal can be used as a free taster session at any time during the term for anyone who is considering joining. www.rock-chorus.com
