The Minories Gallery Colchester is a professional contemporary art gallery run in conjunction with Colchester School of Art & Design. A Listed Georgian building, the Minories is of local importance within the historic town of Colchester. The Friends of the Minories have ensured the building be used to the benefit of local arts community. This has continued and now ensures Colchester School of Art and Design provide contemporary art and design in one of Colchester's most distinctive buildings. The gardens, together with the folly within them, provide a delightful setting to appreciate the building and art work all with the option of a delicious lunch or snack from the onsite Bistro.
