Prices at The Queens Head LA23 1PW Windermere from £60 per person, per night The Queen's head is a 17th Century coaching Inn set in the tranquil and beautiful Troutbeck Valley just 3 miles from Windermere. With real fires, slate floor and wooden beams surrounding the bar which was originally a Four Poster bed in Appleby Castle you can be assured a warm welcome. We have 15 Bedrooms to choose from, Lakeland Four Posters, Lakeland Bedrooms and Standard Bedrooms with doubles, twins and a family room available. 10 are in the original coaching inn and 5 are across in our annex, a converted barn just infront of the main inn. Food is served 7 days a week from 12pm until 9pm with an A La Carte menu as well as a 3 course menu at £20.00 per person to choose from which can be washed down with a choice form our large selection of real ales, lagers and wines
