The Moorland Hotel is situated in an unrivalled location on the southern slopes of Dartmoor National Park commanding uninterrupted views across the moors and to the sea beyond . Well located for our corporate guests too. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but only 20 minutes from the centre of Plymouth. Rising from the ashes is our Phoenix Steakhouse serving mouth-watering local Devon steaks cooked on our char grill. Cornish Landed Fish such as Bass also feature regularly on our menu along with British Pork and Westcountry Lamb. Our superb kitchen works its magic with fresh ingredients to create dishes to remember. Breakfast is available from 730am-9am Mon - Fri and 8am-930am Sat-Sun at an additional charge. We have a few Pet Friendly rooms for those wishing to travel with their fur child. Directions to Moorland Hotel Plymouth

If travelling down the A38 Exeter to Plymouth Expressway: If travelling down the A38 Exeter to Plymouth Expressway take the Lee Mill exit (not far after Ivybridge). Turn Right at the first T junction and after the underpass turn right again at the second. Then take the first left and follow the road through Cornwood and then on to Wotter. It s about 6 miles along this main road (ignore turnoff to Wotter) before you come to the hotel on your left. Watch out for sheep on road! If coming from Cornwall: Go over Tamar Bridge along the A38. When you come to the flyover and roundabout at Marsh Mills take the slip road exit marked Plympton- and carry on towards Plympton. Pass through several traffic lights and at the first mini-roundabout take the left hand fork. At the next roundabout turn left over a stone bridge and continue along this road for about half a mile past a convenience store on the right.
