Welcome to Kellah Farm an ideal base for exploring Hadrian s Wall Country. Whether you re looking for a modern farmhouse Bed & Breakfast or a traditional self-catering cottage Kellah provides comfortable accommodation in a peaceful countryside setting. br / br / br / br / Kellah has been a small hamlet since 1402 and has been farmed by our family for over 160 years. We are a working hill farm breeding beef cattle and Scottish Blackface sheep. br / br / br / br / Farmhouse breakfasts using all locally sourced produce including our own free-range eggs comfortable accommodation a warm welcome and stunning views of the Northumbrian countryside is our recipe for a relaxing stay at Kellah Bed and Breakfast Accommodation. br / br / br / br / The five en-suite bedrooms are in a newly refurbished self contained unit that used to be The Pitman s Arms public house before it closed in the late 1900 s. Each room is furnished to a high standard in the character of a country farmhouse. A separate bathroom is available for anyone who prefers to soak in the bath after a long day s walking. Water is heated by solar panels and provides plenty of hot water for baths and showers. br / br / br / br / Farmhouse breakfasts including a vegetarian option are served in the double dining room. The large lounge with its black-range fireplaces TV DVD and children s games are available for guests use at any time. Guests can relax outside on the stone flagged patio area. br / br / br / br / A laundry and boot drying room is available for our guests convenience as we are in a fantastic walking br / br / br / br / Our three 4 star self-catering holiday cottages were previously miner s smallholdings and still have many of the original features br / br / open fires beamed ceilings and walled gardens. All 3 cottages have 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 6 people in the largest all have digital TV washing machines electric cookers microwaves and fridge-freezers. br / br / br / br / For children we have a playarea with slides climbing frame and swings also a games room with a pool table.

The West M6 - Road: From the M6 Junction 43 or Carlisle take the A69 towards Newcastle approximately 15 miles. Take the road on the right marked Featherstone 2 miles.Kellah 1 1/4 miles is sign-posted further along this road. br/ br/ The East A1 - Road: From the A1 or Newcastle take the A69 for Carlisle. At Haltwhistle DO NOT turn off the A69 but follow the A69 past Haltwhistle s cricket pitch and take the first turning on the left for Featherstone. Follow the road up the hill past the TV mast and take the next left turn for Featherstone. Take the next right turning at the sign-post for Kellah 1 1/4 miles.
