Rural location but close to major towns. Excellent food, comfortable beds and friendly welcome.

Quiet, comfortable, only 3 miles from Belfast International Airport, halfway between Antrim and Crumlin on the shores of Lough Neagh with Belfast, Ballymena and Lisburn only 25 -30 minutes away Bay Cottage is a friendly place to stay. In the house we offer our guests a sitting room, 2 bedrooms all with views of the Lough, plenty of reading material, board games jigsaws as well as TV. We also have a one bedroom self contained apartment which can either be bed and breakfast or self catering. We use our own produce, including free range eggs, rare breed pork products, home baked bread and preserves for breakfast and do evening meals by arrangement. We are happy to welcome people with dogs who are able to stay in the insulated kennel and run. There is storage for motorbikes, bikes, canoes or angling equipment.

Breakfast: Breakfast consits of fruit juice, cereals, natural yoghurt and selection of fruit. There is always home baked bread (either wheaten or soda) to go with the home made preserves. Cooked breakfasts use rare breed bacon and sauage and our own free range eggs which can all be accompanied by mushrooms and tomatoes. NI produce is used whenever possible and all dairy products are NI.

Rooms: The sitting room has comfortable seatingm, multifuel stove, selection of board games, jigsaws and tourist literature. There is a library of paperbacks at the top of the stairs for guests. Both bedrooms have views of Lough Neagh and we provide binoculars for those keen to spot the birds. One room is en suite and the other has a private bathroom. Both have hospitaility trays, TVs and a hairdryer. One has large double bed and sofa bed and the other has twin beds.

Parking: We have a yard for cars and a shed for bikes, motorbikes and canoes.

Wifi: We are delighted to offer our guests free WiFi in hte house.

Pets: We have two dogs of our own and provide an insulated kennel and run for visiting dogs - they are not allowed in the house. Other types of pet are by arrangement.

Families: We are very family friendly. The board games and jigsaws for older children and we have a small selection of books and colouring materials for the younger ones. Most childdren enjoy feeding our collection of poultry.
