The accommodation which was the village midwifes home until the early 1950s, comprises one double bedroom with a king size bed, a single bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom, with a self contained walled garden and off road parking. The cottage is situated in the centre of the village and is near all local amenities which include an Indian Restaurant & Takeaway, Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway, 5 public houses, 3 of which provide excellent evening meals ranging from standard pub food through to bistro dining. Being a self contained cottage you benefit from total privacy and have self-catering facilities available should you prefer to cook for yourself. Ideal as a one-night stop over or for longer stays whilst working away from home. The facilities include a digital television with Free View, DVD player, microwave, oven and hob, fridge, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, Egyptian cotton bed linen & towels. At weekends the cottage is ideally suited for friends and family down for parties, weddings and even just a weekend, who cannot easily be accommodated at home.
