The site is grassy, well drained, flat, sheltered and very quiet: just birds, rabbits, deer, squirrels, foxes and our free range chickens. We are family and pet friendly and allow dogs as long as they are kept on a lead while on the site. There is a large grassy field adjacent for children to play in. The site is situated at the edge of a small village in a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty. It is 150m from the Sorrel Horse pub which serves very good evening and lunch meals. There is also a childrens playground 150m away. We are 2 miles from an excellent local shop (Hollesley Village Store) with more shops in the local market town of Woodbridge. We are 2 miles from the River Deben, 3.5 miles from the sea (Shingle Street) and 4 miles from a sandy beach (Bawdsey). It is a very good walking and cycling area with forest, river, heathland and coastal trails nearby.
