Tenterden - Tenterden is the often described as the "Jewel in the Weald". Located just 3 miles from Woodchurch, its beautiful tree lined high street is wide and filled with interesting shops and many restaurants, offering the visitor a variety of types of cuisine - Turkish, Indian, Chinese, French and Italian. St. Mildred's church dates back to the 11th century and its square tower stands high above the weather-boarded houses. The Kent and East Sussex stream trains run from the town center to Bodium castle (National Trust), chuffing their way through the wonderful Kent countryside.
