Only 4 miles from the ferry terminal at Brodick Altachorvie is situated on the east coast of the Isle of Arran on the edge of the typical Scottish coastal village of Lamlash. From its elevated position the house enjoys stunning views over rolling lawns and Lamlash Bay to Holy Island. The Country House designated as non-smoking has 36 bedrooms equipped with a hairdryer clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Flatscreen TVs are provided in the bedrooms. Leisure facilities include a bar lounge conservatory and a range of board games and books. Croquet and badminton can be enjoyed in the garden. Accommodation through LateRooms is on a BandB basis. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is offered. A three-course dinner is available on request at a price of œ22.95 and served at 7.30pm. Please contact the house if you wish to have dinner on your night of arrival. All meals are served in an informal friendly atmosphere at tables for up to 10 guests. Free car parking is available. Please notify the Country House in advance if you intend to arrive after 10.30pm. Bedrooms are available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. The Country House is an excellent base for those on an activity or walking holiday. There are very good drying facilities and storage for bicycles. Nearby tourist attractions include Brodick Castle and Country Park only 6 miles away and the Isle of Arran distillery 17 miles away at Lochranza.
