FROM THE NORTH:Take Junction 40 off M6 turn right onto the A66 (signposted Keswick) then left at the next roundabout (signposted Ullswater).After 5 miles you will reach a T-junction by the lake turn right on the A592 (signposted Patterdale).You will reach the Hotel on this road after 7 miles.(Approximately 20 minutes drive from M6)FROM THE SOUTH:Take Junction 36 off the M6 turn left following thesigns for the A590 then the A591 to Windermere.Continue on this road past Windermere to a smallroundabout and turn right onto the A592 Ullswater.This takes you over Kirkstone Pass and the hotel ison this road approximately 14 miles 30 minutes drive.(Kirkstone Pass should not be attempted in poorweather conditions continue to Junction 40 of M6).FROM SCOTCH CORNER:Take A66 Penrith going straight ahead over 2roundabouts. At third roundabout turn left(signposted Ullswater). After 5 miles you will reacha T-junction by the lake turn right onto A592(sign-posted Patterdale).You will reach the hotel on this road after 7 miles.BY RAIL:West Coast Mainline Penrith (14 miles)
