Church View is a 200 year old former farmhouse located in the unspoilt pretty village of Stockton on the Forest on the East side of York offering quality accommodation overlooking the village church approximately 3 miles from the ancient City of York .Ideally situated for visiting the North Yorkshire Moors and East Coast both less than an hours drive away Bus every 30mins to York and East Coast no car needed to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire.All rooms are en suite and tastefully decorated with TV DVD films can be loaned on request and drink making facilities We cater for BandB self catering or groups and can offer good rates for workers or longer lets We have a cosy visitors lounge in the Main House for BandB guests with real fires for a cosy evening in. We also have three self contained cottages to the rear of the house all beautifully decorated with quality furnishings and fittings with en-suite bedrooms attractive cosy lounges and kitchen area for those that prefer their private accommodation .The Cottages are all ground floor providing easy access for those that can not manage stairs Consisting of two one bed roomed and one two bed roomedA bunk barn is available for groups in our budget accommodation The village has a pubrestaurant just a short walk away serving excellent meals and a 18 hole Golf Course There are many lovely country walks any plenty of pubs and restaurants only a short drive away Our rooms consist of a large spacious ground floor studio room with king size bed bunk beds and sofa bed Ideal for a larger family or group One room overlooking the village church with double and single bed and a double a four poster may be available on requestWe can provide a tasty home cooked evening meal (must be pre booked) and a breakfast of your choice.
