Great Trethew Manor is set in 40 acres of beautiful woodlands and gardens which gives you plenty of walks and grounds to explore in. Within the grounds we offer a trout fishing lake pony trekking tennis court camping grounds and self catering cottages. We also have a stable block where guests are welcome to visit the horses and pigs and feed the animals. In the garden we have free use to all children a trampoline and bouncy castle garden games are available from reception. These are all weather permitting.All our bedrooms contain old world traditional furnishings and fittings Our single and standard double rooms are situated on the 2nd floor and have en suite shower rooms our superior and four poster rooms each contain en suite bathrooms and are on the first floor. All rooms are en suite with either a bath or shower room. In a selection of our rooms we offer DVD players and all rooms have remote controlled televisions with digital boxes and teacoffee making facilities.Within the hotel we have a character bar and restaurant with open log fires when the evenings get chilly candlelit tables and flag stone floors. Our A La Carte restaurant offers local produce food as well as world wide steaks such as zebra bison and kangaroo together with a bar snack menu. We now also offer our Volcanic Lava Stones where guests can be their own culinary artist and certain dishes can be brought to the table to be cooked by yourselves enjoying a full flavor of tastes and sauces.Our cosy cottages are only a minutes walk from the Manor and have been converted from the stables of Great Trethew Manor over 100 years ago. Each cottage consists of a double room and a room with either bunk beds or twin beds. Together with a shower room and downstairs is a small kitchenette loungedining room. They are fully equipped with oven microwave fridge ironing facilities hoover all kitchen utensils and crockery. All bed linen and towels are provided.We also have a larger 6 person cottage on site with a very good sized kitchen and lounge. This cottage has a aga which heats the whole house two bedrooms and a bathroom.We are ideally situated for exploring Cornwall as well as Devon. Situated only 3 miles from Liskeard and 6 miles from the historic fishing village of Looe. The Eden Project is approximately 12 an hours drive. There are plenty of beaches such as Seaton Looe Whitsand all within a 10 mile radius and plenty of golf courses such as Looe Golf Course only 2 miles away St Mellion Golf and Country Club 15 miles and Lostwithiel Golf Club 12 miles. Guests may check in any time after 1.00pm and departure is by 11.00am. If you require to check in earlier or depart later this can be done by special request.

From The A38 Plymouth Tamar Bridge follow signs for Liskeard once approaching Trerulefoot roundabout we are 3 miles follow signs for Liskeard you will go past Castle Motors on your left a Car Sales Garage with large aeroplane in carpark. As you reach the brow of the hill you will see us sign posted on the brown tourist board signs. Sign posted for Looe on the B3251 once you have turned off onto the B3251 we are 12 a mile on your left
