By car:From A1 take A64 then A1036 sign posted York West and then follow signs for City Centre. When you pass The Marriott Hotel on the right take next turning right. Follow Knavesmire RoadCampleshon Road to the end. Go left into Bishopthorpe Road and Hillcrest is half a mile on the right.By train or coach:When you arrive at York Railway Station go to the main entrance turn right and follow Queen Street (over bridge) to the traffic lights. Continue straight over into Nunnery Lane passing a large car park on your left. Continue to the end of Nunnery Lane and turn right into Bishops Gate which then leads on to Bishopthorpe Road. We are on top of the hill on the left just past Southlands Church. The walk should take approximately 15 minutes.Alternatively take bus No.11 to Bishopthorpe and exit at Bewlay Street. A taxi fare should be about œ5.
