Please note that there is an original turnpike staircase please see photo so if you have any mobility difficulties or young children it is best to request a room on one of the lower floors. Please also note that you check in at 65 Cockburn Street just around the corner as due to the historic nature of the building it cannot house a reception. Directions to Royal Mile Residence Edinburgh

Waverley Train Station and Airport ShuttleFrom Waverley Station take the Waverley Bridge exit and turn left when you get out of the station. At the traffic circle head straight up Cockburn Street. AirportThe Airport is 8 miles from the Royal Mile Residence Edinburgh and there are two options: Take a taxi to 65 Cockburn Street to the Check in. this should take approximately 20 to 25 minutes dependent on traffic. Take the Airport Express bus. This departs approximately every 10 minutes during peak times. Stay on the bus until it terminates on Waverley Bridge in the Centre of Edinburgh. When you get off the bus turn left and head across the road and up Cockburn Street. The check in is located at 65 Cockburn Street next to the Southern Cross Caf‚. From here a receptionist will then assist you to the Royal Mile Residence Edinburgh.
