The Channel Guest House is situated on Weymouth's famous sea front a beautiful 214 year old Georgian town house sitting directly opposite the award winning central beach in close proximity to the town centre (a short level walk) close to the railway station buscoach stops and Ferry terminal. The house has 11 guest rooms with 5 of them enjoying views over the beach opposite and out across Weymouth bay (the site of the 2012 Olympic sailing events).The rooms were all redecorated in early 2011 and apart from their beds offer professionally fitted bedroom furniture flat panel TV free Wi-Fi and teacoffee making facilities. All rooms are en-suite with some offering shower some offering bath with shower over and our 3rd floor large sea view double has a bath with shower attachment on the tap set.Breakfast service is held in the dining room 08:15 to 09:15 each day and is something to look forward to with the majority of ingredients being sourced from local farms and producers and all cooked food is cooked to order to ensure the best experience.If arriving by car we will provide you with a parking permit at no extra cost parking is on street at the front or rear of the building and in the event all spaces are occupied we can provide permits for a local public car park about 4-5 minutes walk away either way parking won't cost you anything.We are a green business and hold the Coveted Green Tourism GOLD award for our work to manage the business and house in an ethical and eco-friendly manner.Our ultimate aim is to offer you clean comfortable accommodation with good food at breakfast in order that you have a memorable time both with us and in Weymouth so that you want to keep coming back and are happy to recommend to friends and family. We will happily provide advice and ideas on activities and places to eat that meet or exceed your expectations.AccessThe Channel Guest House is a 214 year old grade II listed building due to the age of the building and it's listed status it cannot be modified for wheel chair access and has no lift to the floors. There are 6 steps from the street to the front door and even on the ground floor there are a series of 3 sets of shallow wide steps along the corridor to the ground floor rooms. All other rooms are accessed via a main staircase. if you or a member of your party have mobility issues and are concerned or have questions about access please feel free to call us prior to booking and we will happily advise.

Arriving by CarYou can approach Weymouth from either the A353 or the A354 make your way to the Sea front and look for the clock (a famous landmark in Weymouth it's 15 metres high and is pale blue and burgundy in colour so you can't miss it. Looking at the clock with the sea behind it we are about 100-150 metres to the right of the clock on the right hand side.RailThe railway station is very close (approx 2 minute walk) exit the station building and walk to the main road looking straight at the road the sea front is to your left walk up the street your walking towards the clock cross the road before the clock and go round the corner onto The Esplanade and walk about 100-150 metres and we are on the right.BusCoachIf you arriving by coach or bus the stops are across The Esplanade diagonally to the right of the guest house just walk across the road to us.Channel FerryWe are about a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk from the Condor Ferry terminal ferries arrive here from Jersey Guernsey and St. Malo. Exit the ferry terminal and proceed down the seafront (Esplanade) following the line of the beach towards the clock. hen you get to about 100-150 metres from the clock you will see us on the left hand side just cross the road to arrive at our front door.
