The Mill Wheel is definitely a hot top tip and worth a visit. The accommodation is newly renovated and nestled in a classic rustic Derbyshire village a superb location just off an easy-run from the M1 and M42. The AA 4 star en-suite rooms with new furnishings are light and bright in d‚cor and with colour TV comfy beds and Tea coffee-making facilities. Check in times are 12pm - 3pm and 5.30pm - 11pm The rosette standard restaurant is contemporary style in furnishings and d‚cor in a period building with original features fully restored timbered ceilings stone walls a roaring fire and an original water wheel located in the bar area. Its renowned for friendly and efficient service and most importantly....Great food that will make you feel like you're really pushing the boat out but priced sensibly so you can feel good about the whole experience.

Directions to The Mill Wheel SWADLINCOTE

From M42 SouthFollow the M42 to where it leads onto the A42. Exit at the second junction sign posted Ashby de la Zouch. Turn left at the first island following signs for A511 heading for Burton upon Trent until you reach Woodville. At the island turn right signposted A514 Derby. (Hartshorne Road). Continue for about 3-4 minutes as the bend via's round to the right you will find us on the left hand side.From M1 SouthExit the M1 at junction 22 and pick up the signs for A511 heading towards Coalville then Ashby de la Zouch. Go straight over the A42 M42 and follow signs for A51 heading for Burton upon Trent until you reach Woodville. Continue for about 3-4 minutes as the bend via's round to the right you will find us on the left hand side.From M1 NorthExit M1 at junction 23A and head for A42. Leave A42 junction sign posted Ashby de la Zouch. At the island turn right signposted A511 heading for Burton upon Trent until you reach Woodville. Derby (Hartshorne Road). Continue for about 3-4 minutes as the bend via's round to the right you will find us on the left hand side.
