Built in the 17th century The rifle Volunteer was originally built to accommodate a Mine Captain and his family during the hey day of the mining industry in the area. It now forms the focal point as the local village pub for the village of St Annes. With a great reputation for its food and hospitality it is a excellent location for expolring all the many visitor attractions in the area.

From Plymouth take the A38 towards Liskeard. Cross the Tamar Bridge and take the 3rd exit on to the A388 to Callington.At the 4th roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the A390 towards Tavistock. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit on to the A390.Entering St Annes Chapel The Rifle Volunteer Harrowbarrow is on the right.From Tavistock take the A390 towards Callington. Pass through Gunnislake into St Annes Chapel. The Rifle Volunteer Harrowbarrow is on the left.
