The Henderson family have lovingly renovated the hotel throughout which was originally three cottages built in 1823.Situated just 100 metres from the first tee of Carnwath Golf Course and a short distance from numerous other courses we are an ideal stopover for the keen golfer. A short drive away and well worth a visit is New Lanark World Heritage site including the Falls of Clyde and wildlife nature walk. Or take a trip to Roslin Chapel on the Da Vinci trail.Our accommodation is of an extremely high standard with a Visit Scotland 3 star award. Rooms are all en-suite with all the facilities you would expect for a very comfortable stay. We offer casual dining in our Bistro and more formal dining in our candle light restaurant. From Glasgow follow the M to Bargeddie take the A8 as far as Chapelhall then the A73 as far as Carluke. Once at Carluke follow signs for the A721 which will take you to Carnwath. Journey time approx. 45 mins.From Edinburgh follow the A702. Just past Dolphinton turn right onto the A721 and follow signs past Newbigging and then on to Carnwath. Journey time approx 45 mins.
