Wheatlands Lodge is a beautiful old house dating back to 1860 . We are based in the heart of the Lake District National Park in Windermere on a quiet road making us an ideal base for exploring the area. All the rooms are decorated to the highest standard in a contemporary way maintaining many original features . Our breakfast is made using the freshest of local ingredients. Jams preserves bread yoghurt and muesli are all homemade . Most days there will be a special breakfast as well using seasonal ingredients. We want you to enjoy your stay in Windermere and we are more than happy to help you in any way we can to make the most of your stay with us however long or short it may be. Directions to Wheatlands Lodge Windermere

From the M6 From the M6 junction 36 follow the A590 which becomes the A591 to Windermere (16 miles approx. Turn left into Windermere village (signposted Bowness & The Lake). Go through the traffic lights and take the second turning on the right hand side. Look out for the Hooked restaurant and Hackney and Leigh estate agents on the corner of Old College Lane.
