The Stables is set within the 120 acre grounds of Doncaster College s High Melton site which itself nestles in the centre of the picturesque village of High Melton. Located five miles from Doncaster town centre and just a few miles from Junction 37 of the A1. It has been the wedding venue of choice for over 100 bride & grooms in 2013. The Accommodation is situated close to The Stables in the top floor of the historic Old Hall block where there are 31 bedrooms. These rooms offer simple budget accommodation with room only (breakfast can be requested on arrival). All rooms are en-suite and comprise of single double and family rooms. Breakfast is served 7.30am - 9.00am Mon - Fri and 8.00am - 9.00am Sat Sun & bank holiday Mondays. Our bedrooms are located in a separate accommodation building of Old Hall these rooms are accessed via stairwells and no lift is available due to the nature of the building. Directions to The Stables Doncaster

From Doncaster Train station 4 miles Head towards market roundabout leave at the 2.exit onto St Georges bridge (A19) for 0.56 miles. Follow directions for sprotborough leading to sprotborough road for 2 miles this then continues as Melton road for 1.77 miles. Turn left into The Stables. From A1 4 miles From A1 leave at junction 37 for A635 Barnsley for 0.87 miles take 1st left into blacksmiths lane. Follow road to end 2.17 miles and turn left onto Doncaster road. Follow Doncaster road for 1mile and turn right into The Stables.
