Our chairs are for sinking into not perching on our food is for savouring not picking at our beds are designed to give you the soundest night s sleep possible. br / br / br / br / Outside you ll find the Auchinstarry marina on the Forth and Clyde Canal where boats moor while the canal ripples softly in the quiet. br / br / It s hard to believe you re only minutes from the town but you are. br / br / br / br / The Boathouse rooms are perfect for business trips or luxury weekend breaks. br / br / br / br / Great beds for sleepy heads mood lighting power showers flat-screen Freeview television with fabulous food and serious wines. br / br / br / br / Breakfast served 7.15am - 11.30am (Monday - Friday) and 8am - 11.30am( Saturday and Sunday). Check out at 12 noon on day of departure. The restaurant is extremely busy at weekends and restaurant reservations are recommended. The rooms are accessed from an external door which residents have 24 hour access to. Please check-in at the restaurant between 3pm and 11pm.

Directions to The Boathouse Kilsyth

Glasgow - Road: Take the M8 & then Join onto the M80 (Signposted Stirling/Kincardine Bridge). Continue along the M80 & leave the motorway at junction 4a (Signposted Cumbernauld Condorrat and Kilsyth). Bear left & follow signs for Condorrat/Kilsyth. At Back O Hill roundabout take the 2nd exit onto B8048. At Craiglinn Roundabout take the 4 exit. At Balloch roundabout take the 2nd exit. Continue through Croy for 1.5 miles. At the T-Junction turn right. At next roundabout turn right. Boathouse is on the left br/ br/ England/South - Road: Travelling on the M6 Northbound continue onto the M74 pass Motherwell and leave the M74 at junction 4 (Signposted Stirling) joining the M73. Continue on the M73 for 8 miles before merging onto the M80 (Signposted Stirling and Edinburgh) Leave M80 at Junction 4a (Signposted Kilsyth). Follow signs for Kilsyth and Croy travel through Croy passing the train station travel another 1.5 miles - at the T junction turn right travel down the hill and turn right at the roundabout (3rd exit). br/ br/ Dundee/Perth - Road: Take the A90 to Perth joining onto the A9/M9 towards Stirling. Continue onto the M80 towards Glasgow. At Auchenkilns leave the M80 (Junction 5). Take the 3rd exit at the first roundabout and then the 2nd exit at the next roundabout. Follow signs for Kilsyth and Croy (approximately 3 miles after leaving motorway) travel through Croy passing the train station travel another 1.5 miles - at the T junction turn right travel down the hill and turn right at the roundabout (3rd exit).
