Holnicote House lies at the heart of a 12500 acre estate in the Exmoor National Park. Owned by the National Trust this historic country house is set amidst peaceful gardens with an outdoor heated pool (open in the summer). There are 34 bedrooms in the main building and in cottages in the grounds. Facilities include two lounges a dining room bar and ballroom. The Exmoor National Park offers many excellent walking and cycling routes many from the door of Holnicote House with the opportunity to spot red deer and Exmoor ponies. Close by are the twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth connected by their Victorian cliff railway and just a short walk from the fascinating Valley of Rocks. The beach at Minehead is popular with families as is the West Somerset steam railway. Also nearby are several historic National Trust properties including Dunster Castle.

Take A39 through Minehead towards Porlock.Holnicote House is on the left about 4.5 miles out of Minehead and about 3/4 mile after the signpost to the left to Luccombe.(Do not follow the signs to Selworthy).After the Selworthy Village sign500 yards further on the leftthe HF Holidays sign is visible.
