Lyme Bay House Hotel is situated close to the centre of the historic South Devon seaside town of Dawlish. It is within close walking distance of beaches shops The Lawn and gardens the mainline railway station and other amenities. Lyme Bay House is an ideal location for train-spotting golf cycling walking and bird watching. It is also very central for exploring the area by car train or bus including Exeter Powderham Starcross Cockwood Dawlish Warren Dawlish Holcombe Teignmouth Shaldon Newton Abbot The Teign Valley and Dartmoor. Your hosts Nikki and Ian took over the Lyme Bay House in June 2006. Nikki said We wanted to develop a bright vibrant fresh holiday feel to the hotel. Directions to Lyme Bay House Dawlish

Junction 30 of M5 - Road: Follow A 379 signposted DAWLISH. Go though Dawlish centre past the railway line and river we are 200 metres up the hill towards Teignmouth turn right into our car park. Beware of SATNAV directions - they tend to a) bring you down narrow country lanes b) want to take you into Plantation Terrace which is behind our premises. br/ br/ South West - Road: Take A381 from A380 at Kingsteighton/Newton Abbot towards Teignmouth. Follow A379 through Teignmouth towards Dawlish. As you come down the hill and around S-bends into Dawlish look for our signs on the left and turnleft into our car park. If you reach Dawlish centre you have missed us. After 2 miles join M5 Southbound for 1 Junction. Exit at Junction 30 and follow A379 signposted Dawlish. Go though Dawlish centre past the railway line and river we are 200 metres up the hill towards Teignmouth turn right into our car park. br/ br/ Dawlish Railway Station - Train: Dawlish is on the Great Western route from London Paddington the South West Trains route from London Waterloo and the Cross Country route from Inverness Edinburgh York Derby Birmingham and Bristol. Turn left out of the station head up the hillon the main road towrds Teignmouth. we are 200 metres up the road on the right - it is a short walk from the station. Please note you need to get off the train at Dawlish (not Dawlish Warren).
