Not only a truly remarkable wedding venue our impeccable services and facilities range from conferencing to fine dining and overnight stays in our remarkable hotel rooms and suites. The castle is beautifully styled to showcase its 800 year history. It has nineteen charming individually styled en-suite bedrooms seven of which feature period four-poster beds. Each bedroom contains a fully equipped bathroom television telephone complimentary wireless internet and added extras such as tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms also have scenic views sofas and luxurious spa baths. Fine dining may be enjoyed in the romantic Cedar Restaurant. Its elegant décor features 17th century carved oak panelling and plush velvet armchairs. Our dinner menu has been carefully created by Head Chef Jordan Lewis and award-winning Chef-Owner Steve Parke and their wonderful kitchen team using only the freshest local produce simply cooked and carefully presented to make the best of natural flavours. Rowton Castle is a beautiful 17th Century Grade 2 Listed Building set in 17 acres of tranquil grounds six miles west from the historic town of Shrewsbury. If visiting us using the M6 motorway travelling from the South exit at junction 10A joining the M54. Travelling from the North exit at junction 11 and follow signs to the M54. Once on the M54 continue along to the A5 towards Shrewsbury. Do not enter the town of Shrewsbury but follow the A5 ringroad and go over each roundabout following signs for Welshpool. At the 6th roundabout turn left onto the A458 towards Welshpool and you will find Rowton Castle about 4 miles along the A458 on the right hand side.
