Superbly located in one of York s finest suburbs close to the Historic City Centre University and Racecourse. We have a FREE private car-park and FREE WifFi for your use during your stay and the lovely walk into the City is via the riverside promenade. We enjoy high levels of recommendations with guests regularly returning owing to our friendliness presentation and cleanliness which is a continuing priority. From guest nominations we were delighted to be awarded Best Guest House Finalist for three consecutive years. We have a varied selection of spacious rooms including four poster and ground floor options and these are maintained to the highest of standards and benefit from a continuous renewal programme. Wi-Fi internet access. Well acclaimed freshly cooked breakfasts is served in our sunny dining room all diets are catered for. We have a residents lounge for your added enjoyment. Please note As a small family run Guest House we are unable to facilitate groups of more than six guests at one time. Also we do not accept guests who are part of a stag/hen party.

Directions to Midway House York

From A1 North/South take the A64 to York. As you approach the City take the third exit into York marked City Centre ( A19) and continue along this road through two sets of main traffic lights. Midway House is on the right hand side approx 80 yards past the second set of lights and located between the junctions of Derwent Road and Moorland Road.
