Following our refurbishment completed in July 2008 we now have 5 ensuite sound insulated bedrooms of which 3 are double and 2 are twin. br / br / br / br / All our rooms are furnished to a high standard with solid pine furniture tastefully decorated with neutral carpets yet each is individually finished by Carol with it s own unique colour scheme brought together with the thoughtful co-ordination of the soft furnishings. br / br / br / br / Originally inspected by the English Tourist Council we are very pleased to have been awarded 4 stars for the standard of our establishment. We have also been awarded a silver award making us one of the top inns in the South West. We are no longer a part of the English Tourist Board but work hard to maintain the same level. You can be assured of a restful and relaxing stay with us. br / br / br / br / We hope we have thought of everything needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible there are hair dryers alarm clocks digital TV s fans tea & coffee making facilities and many other thoughtful additions. br / br / br / br / Fibre optic wifi is available in the main bar area. br / br / br / br / All the rooms are located on the first floor and are sound insulated to keep any noise from the rest of the building to an absolute minimum. Indeed even with our extrovert quiz master on the microphone (quizzes are held on the first Thursday of each month) we are assured that our guests rest has been undisturbed! br / br / br / br / We are able to add a single bed or cot in most of our rooms (the exception being our double en suite because of the room layout) A bed costs £20 per night including bedding towels and breakfast whilst the travel cot is £10 to hire (no bedding)

Directions to The Oak South Brent

A38 - Road: From the A38 Devon expressway which links Exeter and Plymouth leave at the exit for South Brent. When you get to the roundabout in the village (by the police station) follow the directions to the village centre - left if you have come from Plymouth direction or right if you have come from Exeter direction. At the end of the road turn right and then immediately right again into Station Road. We are located on the left hand side about 100 yards up the road.
