At the Northern end of Blackpool s famous promenade stands the red bricked splendour of the Grand Metropole Hotel. It boasts the honour of being the only hotel to be located on the shoreline of the promenade and its beautiful Victorian façade and interior coupled with the modern facilities on offer make it the ideal seaside hotel. Located just up from the North Pier and the War Memorial the Grand is easy to find and get to just 25 minutes off Junction 4 of the M55 and 10 minutes walk from Blackpool North Train Station. All of the bedrooms are fully equipped with en-suite bathrooms a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Larger more stylish rooms Premier Rooms are also available complete with stunning views across the Irish Sea. Wifi is free for all guests and is available in all public areas of the hotel. Guests have a choice of places to eat when they stay at the Grand Metropole the Promenade restaurant serves a delicious three course carvery menu whilst the Worrall Restaurant serves an exclusive menu and is available to Premier guests only. The Coastal Café is also available and serves bar snacks light bites and hot and cold beverages throughout the day. The Grand Metropoles location means guests have an abundance of choice if they want to venture out to dine with plenty of restaurants bars and cafes located along the promenade. There s plenty to do around Blackpool too guests can thrill seek at Blackpool Pleasure Beach (22 minutes via tram from the hotel) or go to the top of Blackpool Tower (6 minutes via tram) or wander around enjoying the animals at Blackpool Zoo (15 minutes drive or 30 minutes via tram). Only hotel on Blackpool promenade the hotel is located near the North Pier and Blackpool War Memorial. By Car: Come off the M55 at Junction 4 either continuing straight onto the A5230 or turning right onto the A583 and continue driving until you reach the promenade (A584). Continue along past the North Pier and War Memorial until you see the hotel on the left hand side. It is the only hotel on the beach side. By Rail: The closest train station is Blackpool North which has superb links to the rest of the country and is only approximately 10 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive from the hotel. By Air: Blackpool Airport is 20 minutes drive away or you can catch the tram which comes every 12 minutes and takes 30 minutes to reach the hotel and stops nearby.
