Steve and Heather invite you to stay at their luxuriously refurbished home. We have recently carried out extensive refurbishment of our guest house to now offer a modern and contemporary feel. Situated opposite the Guesthouse is the Viewpoint picnic area with superb views over Poole Harbour and Purbeck Hills. Our bedrooms boast luxury beds four poster bedroom one with en-suite spa bath separate shower toilet and hand basin all rooms have full en-suite facilities with complimentary bathroom toiletries flat screen colour TV clock radio full length dress mirrors tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits. Hair dryers are provided together with use of iron and ironing board if required. Our Family Room comprises of two rooms adjoining with double bed and single beds able to accommodate a family of five. Both rooms have their own colour TV so parents do not have to watch cartoons! When booking the Family Room please can you indicate the number of children you have and their ages. /p We offer a full breakfast service starting from 6 a.m. for early ferry travellers business visitors or those who just like to make an early start. Together with fresh fruit juice cereals yogurts muffins pastries we also provide a full English breakfast along with coffee/tea fruit or herbal teas and decaffeinate coffee. We also offer an alternative breakfast menu consisting of salmon and scrambled egg haddock and poached eggs or kippers. We are happy to provide other items for breakfast including beans on toast omelette or even cheese on toast. /p Other places of interest include the famous Poole Pottery Aquarium Museums Arts Centre Compton Acres Gardens and the splendid golden beaches of Sandbanks. In the Poole Quay area there are Harbour Boat Rides plentiful eating choices and shops. /p We take comments from guests very seriously regarding traffic/outside noise in the rooms at the front of the property and we have now installed new double glazing with Acoustic Glass which reduces noise levels by over 50% so hopefully this will eliminate the problems some guests have experienced. /p Free Wi-Fi in all rooms and parking are avaialble to all guests. /p

Directions to Viewpoint Guest House Poole

We are situated about 1 mile from the centre of Poole and about 3 miles from the centre of Bournemouth. To the right is a map of the immediate area surrounding the guesthouse. Directions from Poole If you are approaching from the centre of Poole you can exit the main roundabout in the town centre at the Longfleet Road turnoff. Continue up Longfleet Road past the hospital on your right. You will come to a second set of traffic lights with the Shah of Persia public house on your left continue straight over at those lights and up to a mini roundabout about another 200yds. Go straight over that roundabout and you will be on Constitution Hill Road. Continue right up that road until you see the mini roundabout at the very top of the hill. Viewpoint Guesthouse is situated directly to the left of that roundabout. Directions from Bournemouth If you are approaching from Bournemouth you need to get on the Wessex Way. Continue right to the end of this road and you will see a set of lights with roundabout that has the Liverpool Victoria building on it. Go round the roundabout taking the 4th exit which brings you on to Poole Road. Continue right up this road around 1 mile you will pass Tesco on your left and eventually come to a roundabout take the second exit and stay on the inside lane. You will immediatley come to a second roundabout. You need to go straight over which will bring you onto Ashley Road. Continue right to the end of this road which is about 1 mile long until you reach a mini roundabout. You will see that Viewpoint Guesthouse is situated opposite the roundabout.
