Our 18 deluxe Highland lodges combine luxury with outdoor living after a day of adventuring in the surrounding mountains store your bike or skis in the woodshed order a pizza delivery from Giovanni s - our onsite Italian restaurant and settle into your woodland home-from-home in front of a cosy wood-burning stove. Enjoy long summer evenings with a drink on your private deck take a stroll to one of the resort restaurants nearby or for the more energetic take a walk to the Craigellachie Nature Reserve. Alternatively guests have use of Spey Valley Leisure s 25m indoor pool complete with wave machine and flume as well as our gym and sauna. By Road: From North (Inverness) Leave A9 as signposted for Aviemore (B970) turn right at T junction and follow road through Aviemore village. Turn right (2nd exit) at first roundabout into the Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort and follow signs to Reception. From South (Glasgow Edinburgh and Perth) Leave A9 as signposted for Aviemore (B970) turn left at T junction and follow road into Aviemore village. Immediately after Esso garage on right turn left into Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort. (first exit on completion of roundabout at this junction) and follow signs to Reception From Aberdeen: Join (A96) heading north west to Moay for 80 miles. Join the (A95) heading south west towards Aviemore for 75 miles. Turn left onto the A9 for 4 miles. Leave A9 as signposted for Aviemore (B970) turn right at T junction and follow road through Aviemore village. Turn right (2nd exit) at first roundabout into the Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort and follow signs to Reception. By Bus: Terminal 200 meters away from resort. (coaches from London (12 hrs) Edinburgh 2 1/2 hrs) & Glasgow 3 hrs). By Air: Flight time London to Inverness 1 hour 30 minutes. Flight time London to Edinburgh or Glasgow or Aberdeen 1 hr.
