Our boutique style hotel is a Grade II listed building in the affluent Bootham part of York built in 1830. On entering the original sweeping staircase with cast iron balustrade welcomes guests the interior dotted with period antiques and luxurious Regency style décor throughout. A significant refurbishment in 2016 has enhanced the appeal further with the addition of lifts to all floors premier ground floor rooms and the development of the historic cellars into The Ivy Brasserie our stunning 2 Rosette restaurant. We are also a chic venue for meetings small conferences and weddings. The glamour continues in the 41 ensuite rooms including flat screen LCD TVs Taylors of Harrogate hospitality tray laptop safes free WiFi and luxury toiletries from the White Company. Extra luxury in some of the Premier rooms comes in the form of underfloor heating air conditioning and TVs in the bathroom. York is a divine city in which to get lost. There is a small secure car park to the rear of the hotel for residents use only. To access turn into Queen Anne s Road where the entrance is on your right.These marked out bays are on a first come first serve basis and must be booked in advance of your arrival. We charge £10 per night and your space will be reserved from 3pm on the day of arrival until 12pm the day of your departure. There will be a code and your bay number obtained from your reservation you will need this to enter the barrier. Please contact hotel directly to reserve your space .These spaces must be booked in advance to guarantee a bay and cars are parked at the owner s risk. Please note an extra £20 per night will be charged for pets.

Directions to The Grange Hotel YORK

From the North via the A19 or A1 Approaching York on the A19 proceed straight ahead on reaching the roundabout at the outer ring road (A1237) and follow the signs for the City Centre. Continue for approximately 2 miles where The Grange is on the right just beyond the footbridge to St. Peter s School. From the A1 take the A59 and follow the signs to York. Turn left at the outer ring road (A1237) and right at the intersection with the A10 to City Centre. From the South via the M1 and A1 Travel North on the M1 until it joins the A1 (M) then follow the signs for the A64 York. Travelling East on the A64 take the A1237 (York outer ring road) and continue for approximately 5 miles following the signs to Thirsk (A19). On reaching the roundabout at the A19 turn right to the City Centre and proceed for approximately 2 miles. The Grange is on the right just beyond the footbridge to St. Peter s School.
