We are small friendly Bed and Breakfast situated in the new part of the old conservation village of West Linton. We are a 10 minute walk from the Olde Bakehouse--a Bistro style restaurant and the Gordon Arms Pub --both provide good food. Dogs are allowed in the pub end of the Gordon Arms where they also serve food. There is a small supermarket a post office an ATM and a pharmacy. The village lies 16 miles to the south of Edinburgh city centre--11miles to the by pass---no pedestrian crossings so this takes about 10-15 minutes. There is a park and ride at Straiton which means you do not have to drive --or park!!-- in the city. Many of our guests are touring as we are handy for the city guests stay 2or3 nights with us and visit Edinburgh or the Scottish Borders. We have good access to the main road North and South and the airport. I like to think I offer a quality friendly environment -- good quality beds and quality products for breakfast including home made bread.

Edinburgh airport - Air: From Edinburgh airport follow road to Edinburgh.Take the A720 Edinburgh By Pass.Exit at the Biggar/Carlilse exit/this is the A702.Travel 12 miles. Take the left at the roundabout on entering West Linton--signposted Robinsland. We are are the bottom of the hill on the left.
