Situated right by the beach on Aberystwyth s Victorian promenade The Glengower offers fresh homemade pub food a cooked breakfast and sea views. It is a short walk from the centre of town and free on street parking is available overnight. The Glengower has a traditional recently refurbished pub on the ground floor with 16 rooms spread across the three floors above. All of our rooms are en-suite all have digital television tea and coffee making facilities and FREE Wi-Fi. Complimentary toiletries and towels are provided and all of room rates include breakfast. Hair dryers are available on request. The pub has a private sun terrace with beautiful views of cardigan Bay and is just a few steps from the beach. Aberystwyth University is just over a mile away. There is FREE Wi-Fi throughout most of the building. The bar serves award-winning cask ales (the pub has recently won Bae Ceredigion CAMRA Pub of the Year 2016 for its real ales) along with a large selection of refreshments. The fresh daily homemade menu is available all day and traditional Sunday lunches are also available. Be sure to check out the daily specials board too for the chef s latest culinary delights.

Directions to The Glengower ABERYSTWYTH

PARKING Parking is available in the surrounding streets or in the Pay and Display council car park just around the corner from the pub. Free parking is available in front of the pub on the promenade for a maximum of 4 hours from 8am to 6pm. So if you were to arrive after 2pm you will be fine until the following morning. Unlimited free parking is available on the streets behind the pub. Pay and Display parking is available in the North Road Clinic car park which is just around the corner from the Glengower at the end of North road closest to the pub. DIRECTIONS Approaching from Aberaeron/Llanrhystud/South Wales on A487 on entering Aberystwyth you will come to a roundabout surrounded by playing fields take the first exit off this roundabout. Continue on this road for about a mile after which you will pass the fire station and then over a bridge entering the town centre. Continue straight on until you reach a square with a clock tower in the middle you need to turn left onto Pier Street that runs off the square down to the pier and promenade. Once you arrive at the pier and seafront follow the road round to the right and continue along the seafront towards constitution hill and you will see the Glengower on your right. Approaching from Llangurig/Mid Wales on A44 on entering Aberystwyth you will meet a Shell petrol station and a roundabout shortly afterwards. Take the first exit from this and you will immediately meet another roundabout please take the second exit from this. Continue along this road going straight over at the roundabout by the car garages until you meet a T-junction. Turn left at this junction then immediately right. Follow this road until you get the seafront. Once at the seafront turn right and the Glengower is a little further along on the right. Approaching from Machynlleth/Dolgellau/North Wales on A487 on entering Aberystwyth you will be travelling down a big hill and you will pass the University and Hospital buildings on your left. At the bottom of the hill you will meet a pub- The Coopers Arms at this pub turn right into North Road. Follow this road until you get the seafront. Once at the seafront turn right and the Glengower is a little further along on the right.
