The George and Dragon is an old Coaching Inn only 5 minutes walk from Chester City Centre perfect for anyone planning a trip to check out the City s sights. This is a traditional house suiting those looking to have a good nights sleep and hot pub grub. On Wednesday nights the local Chester University students join us on Thursdays we have karaoke Friday a live DJ and on Sunday we have our famous quiz night! Music and entertainment last until midnight with the bar taking final orders at 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. The pub is located in a vibrant area of the city in close proximity to the University of Chester and within walking distance of the racecourse. We are situated opposite the current bus station. The George and Dragon boasts 14 letting bedrooms all including free wi-fi tea and coffee making facilities with a television and digi-box. Every room has its own en-suite bathroom with shower or bath. Car-parking is also available and a pay & display ticket needs to be purchased. This is refundable upon check-in at reception! This means FREE parking for our hotel guests! Our car parking is 24 hour which allows you to explore Chester the next day after check-out. We are 10 minutes drive from the M53 juction 12 Take the A56 to Chester at the first round about take the second exit carry on driving for 5 minutes until you reach another roundabout take the 3rd exit head to the fountains roundabout and take the 3rd exit again and you will see us directly in front of you!!
