Resident owners Shirley and John Rose would like to welcome you to Edendale House which is situated at the northern end of Southport in a leafy residential area of wide streets offering peace and tranquillity where all the houses were built in the Victorian era. There is a large car park and attractive gardens. Shirley and John were thrilled to be awarded a Breakfast Award by Visit Britain for seven years running. br / br / br / br / We offer an Over 60 s discount seasonal discounts and for children sharing with two full paying adults loyalty discounts too. br / br / br / br / Check in is usually between 15.00 and 18.00 but we are happy to check you in at other times with prior notice. If you cant find availability online it is worth giving us a ring we can often tidy up other bookings and find a space for you. br / br / br / br / All rooms have a comfortable seating area to relax after a day out we have an honesty bar for drinks to enjoy in your room. For our guests comfort and safety this is a no smoking guesthouse. br / br / br / br / The dining room is delightfully decorated. Breakfast is served at separate tables between 8.15 and 9.15 early breakfasts can be served with prior notice. The breakfast menu is quite extensive offering healthy vegetarian and fish dishes. We have an arrangement with an excellent local restaurant for evening meals or for groups of six or more we can do a set menu br / br / br / br / There are eight bedrooms situated on the first and second floors. Every room has a flatscreen freeview colour TV direct dial telephone free wi-fi alarm clock hairdryer tea and coffee making facilities complimentary toiletries and en-suite facilities. M58 Junction 3 take 3rd exit (A570) Follow A570 to it s end in the town centre of Southport (opposite the Scarisbrick Hotel) Turn right at T junction (traffic lights) Straight over the roundabout 3rd road on left (Leyland Road) 2nd road on left (Avondale Road North) Edendale House is on the corner on the left br/ br/ FROM THE NORTH M6 Junction 32 - Road: Leave the M6 at juntion 32 onto the M55 head for Blackpool Junction 1 (A6) for Preston town centre Pick up Southport signs and head for the A59/A565(Liverpool road) Follow for Southport until you come to roundabout take 3rd exi for Marine Drive. Next roundabout (approx. 2.5 miles) 1st exit Check in between 15.00 and 18.00 T junction turn left 3rd right (Avondale Road North) Follow to the crossroads and we are on the opposite corner on the left
