The Dorrington Hotel and Bar is situated a stone s throw away from Halstead Town Centre with its amenities and attractions. We are 23 miles from Stansted Airport 15 miles from Colchester Town Centre 8 miles from Sudbury and 7 miles from Braintree with its Freeport Shopping Centre. There are 14 rooms comprising of 4 family rooms 6 double rooms and 4 twin rooms. All rooms are en-suite with coffee and tea making facilities and 3 of the rooms have baths. There are televisions in all rooms with the 5 rooms on the first floor having smart HD televisions. There s also free Wi-Fi available throughout the property. Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 9.30 Monday to Friday and from 8:00am to 10.00am Saturday Sunday and Bank Holidays. There is a full English breakfast which is included in the price of your room. Coffee Tea and pastries are served throughout the morning and light lunches from 12 to 3 The Dorrington has a carpark at the rear of the property for several cars this is accessed via Butler Road/Broton Drive/Rosemary Lane. Parking is at a first come first serve basis but if the carpark is full there is a public carpark to the rear of the property its entrance is in Butler Road. There is free parking after 3:00pm every day and all day on Sunday- outside those times prices are as follows 1 Hour £0.60 3 Hours £1.30 6 Hours £2.60 Max £5.00 The Dorrington is proud of The Trinity Function and Party Venue which can be hired for private parties wedding receptions and the like. Rooms are either remotely situated away from the function venue or very well sound proofed so hotel guests are not inconvenienced. On Friday and Saturday Nights the bar is open until 2:00AM for those wishing to take advantage of this. The rooms are situated away from the bar area so there should be little or no inconvenience to guests staying in the rooms. Checking in time for the rooms is 3:00pm Checking out time is 10:00am

Directions to The Dorrington Hotel Halstead

From Braintree take the A130 into Halstead and Scenarios is on the left past the Esso garage (which is on your right). Parking is available at the rear via Butler Road. From Colchester follow the Colchester Road to the bottom and turn left at the mini roundabout at the next mini roundabout go straight on. Follow the road to the bottom of the High Street. Once you go around the right hand bend Scenarios will be facing you on the right.
