Secreted away in the quiet village of Oakley this handsome Hampshire lodge provides some of the most welcoming budget accommodation in Basingstoke. It s just off the M3 and a few minutes from town but feels like it s a world away with picturesque countryside on the doorstep and attractive thatched houses nestling around a duck pond in the centre of the village. By road directions From the M3 heading West exit at Junction 6 and take the M3 Spur signposted Basingstoke. At Black Dam roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A339 signposted Ring Road North. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A339 and at the next roundabout turn left onto Roman Road signposted Winklebury. Bear right onto Roman Road and at the roundabout turn right onto the B3400 - signposted Whitchurch. Continue on the B3400 for 2.5 miles and the Lodge is on the right at the Beach Arms Crown Carvery. By rail and air directions Basingstoke Station is less than 6 miles away. Southampton Airport is 28.1 miles away.
