South Penarth House is a truly lovely Grade II listed B&B. The rooms are extremely comfortable and individual with a host of period features in the spacious and light filled accommodation. The house has three ensuite bedrooms for guests and also a two bedroom family suite available for those with children or two friends who would like a bit more space. Guests are welcomed with a complimentary glass of sherry by the open fire in the guest lounge. There is efficient open broadband for lap tops and excellent mobile phone signal. Breakfast is served in the pannelled breakfast room and offers something for everyone: A full English breakfast is cooked fresh to order home made bread homemade jam and marmalade fresh strawberries and organic yoghurts. All our bedrooms have large digital TV s fresh flowers fresh fuit and wonderful tea trays with an array of teas and homemade biscuits. Truro is a 12 minute stroll downhill to the cathedral (you may need to take a £3 cab ride home up our steep hill). Currently the house only accepts cash or cheques NOT credit cards and we apologise for any inconvenience. Guests are welcome to use the garden in the summer months and the large tranquil gardens. The beautiful river walks at St. Clements are a 3 minute drive away. Your hosts offer an informal and friendly service and are happy to offer advice about this beautiful area whether you are here for business or pleasure. The house is very tranquil and quiet despite being so conveniently placed and has lovely gardens where guests can relax on nice evenings. The house is an ideal base for a romantic break and to explore the beautiful County of Cornwall. Truro is host to numerous restaurants and has a lot of bijoux shops to explore. There is also a fine theatre in the centre of town and some fine art galleries. For business purposes the house is conveniently placed for access to Truro Truro Courts Truro Council and also the hospital. The small village of St. Clement s is less than a mile away with its stunning river walks. It is renowned for birds and wildlife and there are numerous country and river walks that emanate directly from the village itself.

Directions to South Penarth Truro

Truro - Road: From the A30 follow the signs to Truro until you come to a big roundabout. Landmark: Shell garage on hand side. Off this roundabout take first exit left up St. Clements Hill. Travel to the brow of hill and turn right down a small country lane signposted to St. Clements. Landmark: purple sign to 16th Century Church. As you turn down lane follow the high stone garden wall on your right hand side. At end of wall turn right into South Penarth drive. Drive bears left and right keep right.
