Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel is a homely Manor House set in 44 acres of beautiful North Devon countryside and landscaped gardens. Just a short drive or bus ride away are many secluded coves and fine sandy beaches such as Woolacombe Bay Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay and within easy reach are Ilfracombe Exmoor and the famous South West Coast Path. The property with origins in the Domesday Book and parts dating back some 400 years was tastefully converted to a hotel in 1976 and has recently undergone a major refurbishment. The Hotel offers en-suite bedrooms and suites or you can unwind in one of our self-catering cottages. All of our residents may enjoy our facilities: our Lounge Bar and Restaurant (open Fridays Saturdays and otherwise by prearrangement) indoor heated swimming pool (Easter-October) and sauna (coin operated) gym games room and outdoor tennis court courtyard and extensive gardens high speed free Wi-Fi. Directions to Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel Ilfracombe

Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel is situated five miles from Braunton two miles from Woolacombe and South of Ilfracombe. From Barnstaple drive north on the A361 passing through the villages of Braunton and Knowle. Approximately 3 miles after Knowle beyond a picnic area layby turn left into Trimstone Lane. The Hotel is clearly signed and we have brown tourist signs. The Hotel is just 300 yards along Trimstone Lane on the left overlooking the grounds where you will find immediate peace and deep Devon countryside. The main entrance to the Hotel and car park is then clearly signposted on the left. Alternatively from Ilfracombe drive one mile to Mullacott Cross and take the Braunton turning (the A361). After half a mile turn right into Trimstone Lane.
