Ambleside is set in the heart of rural North East Scotland. It offers views of the North Sea to the east and pine forests and heather clad hills to the west. We are situated 15 mins drive from Aberdeen and Banchory and 10 mins drive from Stonehaven. We are just off the B979 in Netherley making it the ideal location for walking shopping and sightseeing in the North east of Scotland. Ambleside was built to our own specification in 1990/91 and eventually extended and altered to form three en-suite bedrooms. Our three guest rooms are all at ground floor level. The nearest railway station is at Stonehaven and the nearest airport is at Aberdeen. We have ample car parking facilities at the house and wi-fi access is available. Credit / Debit cards accepted

From the south leave A90 at junction for B979. travel on B979 for approx 5 miles to left hand turn off at Ambleside B & B brown tourist board sign. follow this side road for 1 and a half miles - we are on the left hand side.with red phone box in the garden. from Aberdeen follow B9077 approx 4 miles to junction for B979 on left hand side. Follow B979 to right hand turn off sign posted for Ambleside B & B. follow for 1 and a half miles - bungalow on left
