Situated at one end of Heartbeats Aidensfield The Beacon nestles comfortably at the rear of the common. Standing adjacent to the church it sits in its own pleasurable landscaped grounds of over an acre overlooking fields and open moorland. The village of Goathland in the beautiful North York Moors National Park is perhaps better known to many as Aidensfield the setting for the ITV series Heartbeat. The Beacon Guest House is perfectly situated at one end of the village next to the Parish Church itself a late Victorian building with views of open moorland and the village common. The Beacon is a grand late Victorian building - built over a hundred years ago as the country home of a wealthy mill owner - with oak-panelled rooms of generous proportions period fittings landscaped grounds superb views and high levels of customer service. And all in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

Directions to Beacon Guest House Whitby

A64 - Road: Leave the A64 onto A169 heading for Pickering you will see Eden Camp museum on your left as you leave the roundabout. Continue on the A64 through Pickering a further 18 miles the left turn for Goathland is clearly marked on the right side of the road. Travel for 2 miles and as you approach the village with the church on your right turn right at the roundabout past the church 200yds and turn right. turn right again for our carpark.
