The Romany Inn is situated in the centre of Bampton a small town in the picturesque area known as the Cotswolds. Only 40 minutes drive from Oxford Swindon or Stow on the Wold with RAF Brize Norton Main Gate only 10 minutes away The Romany is an ideal place to stay for both the Business or Casual Traveller so whatever your reason for staying in this wonderful area of England Mike & Glynis invite you to a cheap and cheerful friendly local Pub with a homely atmosphere serving traditional home cooked Pub Food Monday and Wednesday - Saturday and a Traditional Sunday Lunch (booking is advisable) from 12.00 - 14.30 on Sunday afternoons. Please note that our kitchen is closed on Sunday Evenings and all day Tuesday (Guests Breakfasts served as required). We are a small family run business and our first priority is YOU! However our schedule can be very tight and we have to ask that you check out by 10.00 on the day of departure. If there is anything we can do to help prior to your arrival then just ask we will do everything we can to make your stay a happy one. Please note - We do not have any facilities for Dogs or Cats and respectfully request that you leave your pets somewhere else. M5 A40 Junction towards CHELTENHAM Stay on A40 thru Cheltenham towards OXFORD. 20 - 30 miles / 50 mins to an hour later BURFORD - Large School on the right Large roundabout stay on A40 towards Oxford. Just after this roundabout (200 meters) turn RIGHT (Sign post to CARTERTON / RAF BRIZE NORTON) Carterton - At the traffic lights Turn LEFT next traffic lights - STRAIGHT ON button roundabout - STRAIGHT ON Large roundabout by the garage - STRAIGHT ON button roundabout - turn RIGHT towards BAMPTON at the button roundabout in Bampton turn RIGHT we are 25 meters on the left. M40 A40 Junction towards Oxford stay on A40 thru Oxford when you exit the last big roundabout out of Oxford there will be a large BMW garage on your right keep going you are on the A40 towards Cheltenham approx 10 miles later you will join a dual carriageway past Witney. look for the RAF Brize Norton sign (3rd Exit) take this exit and at the T Junction turn LEFT towards Carterton at the large roundabout - turn LEFT at the button roundabout - STRAIGHT ON at the next button roundabout - STRAIGHT ON to BAMPTON.
