Set in the idyllic Hertfordshire countryside Champneys Tring Health Resort has modern rooms in a classic English stately home. Opened as a health spa in 1925 rooms are surrounded by history and character but all contain comfortable modern features. Many bedrooms also have a private terrace or balcony looking out across the 170 acres of beautiful parkland. /p All the bedrooms at Champneys have flat screen TVs with DVD players complimentary WiFi tea and coffee facilities complimentary Champneys robe hire and flip flops to keep sumptuous cotton towels and fine quality linen. Champneys Tring understand the importance of a good night s sleep so quality slumber is on their list of priorities all the bedrooms have been designed to induce calm and aid in the relaxation process. /p Overnight guests also get breakfast three course buffet lunch and three course dinner included in their room rate. With an emphasis on British produce and fresh seasonal ingredients the head chefs and nutritionists work together to come up with every menu working on the principles of moderation balance and variety with a focus on being healthy but still delighting your senses. /p As you would expect from such a Resort Champneys Tring has a beautiful pool and relaxing Spa Facilities including outside hot tub and a Sauna and Steam Room and our Bed and Breakfast Guests are welcome to make use of these between 5pm and 10am if wishing to use the Spa facilities outside these times then an additional charge will be quoted on site. /p DRESS CODE Champneys have a robed and relaxed approach but we endeavour to maintain a certain standard of dress for all guests and visitors. Sportswear is permitted throughout the day however at dinner we ask our guests to wear smart casual clothing. No work wear of any kind including work boots will be permitted in our dining or relaxation areas. Any person not adhering to the Champneys dress code will be politely asked to change. /p Champneys is an adults-only Resort anyone of over-16 is welcome on site. /p Champneys Tring is just a 20-minute drive from the M25 and M1 motorways 5 minutes car journey from the market town of Tring. With direct routes to London Euston Clapham Junction and Milton Keynes Central the hotel is certainly accessible. The nearest train station is located in Berkhamsted beside the ruins of an old castle and overlooking the Grand Junction Canal. From there the hotel is a 10-minute drive with Choice Cars (01442 875100) the hotel s selected cab company. /p If you do wish to leave the comfort and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel the surrounding countryside is excellent for walks the Natural History Museum at Tring is ten minutes drive away and the National Trust Ashridge Estate is only 15 minutes drive away. /p A charge of £55.00 extra per person per day is applied if guests stay between 10am & 5pm for use of facilities. /p

For Sat Navs please use the road name Chesham Road to locate us and Wigginton as Town/Location (this is important as there is another Chesham road in another local town). Follow signs for Wigginton not Tring. Leave the A41 at Tring exit also signposted Wigginton. Take the exit at the roundabout to Wigginton (which takes you up a steep hill called Oddy Hill). Continue up Oddy Hill and follow the road into the village centre until you see the War Memorial ahead on the left. Just before the War Memorial turn right onto Chesham Road. Follow Chesham Road for another 1 and 1/2 miles until you see the Champneys gates on the left hand side.
