FROM THE NORTH A1 - Road: leave the A1 at junction A692 signposted to Consett and follow this road for 2 miles to Sunniside. Continue on to the third set of traffic lights where you should turn left on to the A6076 towards Stanley. Drive for mile then turn left just on the right hand bend and on to Birkland Lane. Continue for 1 mile to the crossroads turn right on to Birkhead Lane. Pass Birkhead Nursery on your right continue for mile. Turn left at the sign for Hedley Hall Bed and Breakfast and Country Cottages br/ br/ FROM THE SOUTH A1 - Road: Leave A1 signposted Team Valley Retail World. At the roundabout take the first exit signposted Lamesley. Follow the road to a mini roundabout turn right on to Haggs Lane. Continue up the road for 1 mile passing Silver Hills Nursery on your left. Follow the road over the crossroad take the next left signposted for Birkheads Secret Garden. Continue to the next crossroads go straight over. Pass Birkhead Nursery on your right continue for mile.Turn left at the sign for Hedley Hall Bed & Breakfast
