The Waterwheel Inn - Saint Austell

Bodmin Road Trethowel
Saint Austell PL25 5RR

The Waterwheel Inn and Restaurant was built in the 1700s and was linked with both the tin and clay mining industries. It is set within an acre and a half of woodland valley beside a river but is only a 10 minute walk from St Austell town. Virtually all of the county can be reached in under an hour making this the ideal base for exploring Cornwall. Only 4 miles from the The eden Project 6 from The Lost Gardens of Heligan and close to the unspoilt coastal fishing villages of Fowey Charlestown and Mevagissey make it perfect for your days out with the convenience of a bar and restaurant to return to for a relaxing evening. Our elegant restaurant serves an extensive A La Carte menu with fresh fish and seafood specials and a home cooked 3 course menu for £16.00. Breakfasts are usually served in the conservatory overlooking the patio and garden. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. Please note a 20% non-refundable deposit taken at the time of booking. Please see cancellation policy for other terms and conditions
