After a comprehensive refurbishment the King s Head re-opened in July 2011 under new management. All our rooms have tea/coffee making facilities flat screen TV and free WiFi. Our aim is to ensure our guests enjoy their stay with excellent food and drink comfortable accommodation and friendly hospitality. br / br / br / br / The King s Head is situated between the Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is therefore an ideal base from which to visit both. We are just 8 miles from the M6 (J38) and 4 miles from the town of Kirkby Stephen.

From the M6 - Road: Exit the M6 at J38 (Tebay). Follow the A685 east towards Kirkby Stephen. After about 7 miles Ravenstonedale is signposted to the right. This minor road leads directly to the Kings Head after about half a mile. br/ br/ A1 - Road: Take the A66 west from Scotch corner to Brough. Turn south at Brough on the A685 through Kirkby Stephen. About 4 miles past Kirkby Stephen Ravenstonedale is signposted left. Take this road. Ignore next left turn to find The Kings Head on the left after another 200 meters.
