Inside the 21-room hotel there is a coffee lounge which serves breakfast lunch and evening meals (counter service) aswell as a bar which serves local ales and lagers a restaurant situated in a seperate section if you wish to dine without lifting a finger with beautiful views across the bay and plenty of history to go with it.. Outside there is a multi-levelled terrace seating up to 150 guests with a beautiful view across viking bay. The Royal Albion was a favourite haunt of author Charles Dickens who stayed and wrote at the hotel before buying nearby Bleak House. The hotel remains a focal point of the town s annual Dickens celebrations and is one of the music venues in the annual Broadstairs Folk Festival. Undoubtably a must visit destination for one and all!

Directions to Royal Albion Hotel BROADSTAIRS

The Royal Albion is situated right on the seafront in Broadstairs. From the M2 coastbound carry straight onto the A299 Thanet Way. At the roundabouts keep following signs for Broadstairs these will firstly route you on the A299 but eventually will route you onto the A255. As you reach Broadstairs you will go under the railway line beside Broadstairs railway station stay on that road down the hill through the town centre. near the bottom the way ahead becomes very narrown for a short while and as you emerge you will see the Royal Albion straight ahead. We do not have our own car park so park on the road outside and drop off your cases then continue on that road to the municipal car park at the bottom of the hill.
