St Benedict s Byre was built approximately 120 years ago and was used as a milking parlour until 1999 when it was converted to become the beautiful property it is today. One part of the property was used for housing the cattle in bad weather and the rest was the parlour itself. br / br / br / br / St Benedict s Byre benefits from an expansive well maintained garden which guests are more than welcome to utilise. The garden backs onto fields resulting in a scenic countryside view in all directions. br / br / br / br / The rooms are all set into the roof area with sloping wood beams which were lovingly saved and restored from the original build when the conversion took place. As a result of the barn shaped building all the bedrooms are south facing and soak up the sun all day long. br / br / br / br / Around the back linking the house to the garden are 3 patio areas where you can enjoy a drink in the evening sun and as we are located at the end of a farm lane the peace and quiet makes it the perfect spot for a quiet get away. br / br / br / br / In the morning you will be served a choice of continental or full English breakfast made from locally sourced organic produce.
