The Lighthouse is a beautifully restored 17th Century Guest House set in 30 acres of parkland on the outskirts of Frome Somerset. The stunning grounds and period setting provide the perfect place for a break with friends and family or as a stopover while working away from home. Guests choose to stay at the Lighthouse as an opportunity to rest and enjoy the tranquil rural setting or use it as a base for exploring the many attractions nearby such as Longleat Safari Park the historic City of Bath and Cheddar Gorge. We are passionate about providing a high quality service for all our guests so they can relax in the tranquil environment and depart feeling rested and well cared for. We kindly ask you to respect that we do not permit alcohol or smoking on the premises. Gluten and dairy free diets are catered for.

Directions to The Lighthouse Frome

Frome - Road: The Lighthouse is situated off the A361 ring road around Frome. Follow the signpost for the village of Tytherington and upon entering the village we are the first entrance on the right. Please follow the signs to Reception and park in the courtyard to check in before unloading your bags. Bath - Road: Follow the A36 from Bath towards Warminster and turn off to join the A361 ring road around Frome. Look out for the signpost for the village of Tytherington and turn off there. The Lighthouse is the first property on the right upon entering the village. Please follow the sign to Reception and park in the courtyard before unloading your luggage. London - Train: There are direct trains from London Paddington to Frome station (5mins from the Lighthouse) and more frequent daily trains from Westbury station (20mins from the Lighthouse).
