Looking for a comfy hotel near the Thames Located within the world heritage site of Historic Greenwich our luxurious lodge provides some of the smartest yet most affordable accommodation in London. It s perfect if you re planning a visit to the capital and have a love for history. The Cutty Sark National Maritime Museum and the Royal Observatory are very close by as is Greenwich Park the oldest royal green space in London. It s still populated with wild deer though they re no longer hunted by King Henry VIII. /p For culture fans we re handy for the O2 Arena and a plethora of specialist gastronomic shops foodie eateries and craft markets and only 15 minutes away from central London (by train DLR bus or river taxi). /p At The Mitre Hotel we have 24 elegantly furnished en-suite bedrooms including three luxury suites all equipped with flat screen TVs with freeview free Wifi complimentary hot drinks and hairdryers. There is a residents lounge secret garden and conservatory and let s not forget our historic pub downstairs. Our rooms offer a world of little extras so you ll find everything you need whether indulging in a short break unwinding after business or simply treating yourself to a special dinner and stopover. A breakfast buffet is included in all room rates and the pub serves hot meals if you don t fancy venturing out in the evening. /p The hotel is located just off the A206 near to St Alfege s Church. Please note there is no parking available at the hotel however there is street parking available which is free between the hours of 6pm and 9am an hourly charge applies at all other times. Alternatively there is a private secure car park opposite available for £12 per night. Cutty Sark and Greenwich train stations are only 5 minutes walk away if you are travelling to the hotel by train. /p

By car: Take the A206 towards Greenwich (Greenwich/Woolwich junction). Follow until you come to the T-junction at St Alfege s church then turn left. Please note there is no on-site parking at this lodge but street or secure parking is available nearby. By train: Take the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) to the Cutty Sark or Greenwich both only 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. From Greenwich Station head towards Central Greenwich and the hotel is on the left hand side before St Alfredge s church. From the Cutty Sark walk away from Greenwich and the hotel is on the right-hand side after St Alfredge s. By Bus: Greenwich is served by routes 177 (Thamesmead to Peckham) 180 (Thamesmead to Lewisham) 188 (North Greenwich to Russell Square) 199 (Catford to Canada Water) 286 (Greenwich to Eltham) and 386 (Greenwich to Plumstead Garage).
